Heathrow VIP which offers business and first class passengers “luxurious, private and personalised travel through the airport” has teamed up with Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton.

The partnership will see a new VIP menu in the lounge at Heathrow with signature dishes from Atherton’s restaurants including Berners Tavern and Pollen Street Social.

Heathrow’s VIP service offers passengers promises a “private and relaxing transition through the airport in just over 44 steps”. Previously called Heathrow by Invitation (see Heathrow extends VIP service), there are two levels of VIP service: VIP Black which includes a chauffeir-driven car to Heathrow (prices depend on distance) and VIP Classic. Both services include:

  • Concierge greeting
  • Private lounge (in the Windsor Suite in Heathrow Terminal 5 or The Royal Suite on the southern perimeter road of Heathrow Airport)
  • Private check-in
  • Private security screening when it is time to depart.
  • Luxury car “direct to the door of the departing aircraft

Passengers can also have a bespoke personal shopping service. The lounge offers cooked meals, including now meals devised by Jason Atherton which will be updated on a monthly basis and have a focus on the best of British cuisine with locally-sourced produce

Heathrow VIP is available to book for those travelling on First or Business class flight tickets, with all airlines flying to/from Heathrow Airport. It is not available to those flying Economy or Premium Economy class.

Heathrow VIP Classic costs £2,250 for a maximum of three people.
