Plaza Premium opens its first Australian lounge

6 Jun 2016 by Clement Huang

The first Australia-based Plaza Premium Lounge has opened in Brisbane Airport.

Lounge entrance

The new lounge is located on level 4 of the departures area and features a rustic yet modern design. The carpet used throughout the facility is imported from New Zealand, while the flooring is made from Italian marble. Floor-to-ceiling windows help fill the lounge with natural sunlight, while providing views of the terminal and runway.

F&B dining area

Also present is the company’s signature honeycomb seating – productivity booths that provide privacy for single travellers looking to work in the lounge. There are plenty of electrical outlets available and complimentary wifi is also offered.

A separate spa facility, located adjacent to the Plaza Premium Lounge, is due to open in Q3 2016. Head and shoulder massages will be part of the spa menu in the coming months.

The Plaza Premium Lounge at Brisbane Airport is open to all travellers regardless of airline and travel class. A visit to the facility (up to five hours) will cost US$46.
