Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) has brought its Holiday Inn Express brand to Malaysia with the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
Located on Jala Raja Chulan – part of Kuala Lumpur’s “Golden Triangle” commercial, shopping and entertainment hub, the 383-room hotel is close to major landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Tower, Putra World Trade Centre and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
The budget hotel has signature brand offerings, including complimentary wifi thoughout the property, free “grab and go” breakfast, and power shower with a three-function massage showerhead. A fitness centre is also available onsite, as is a self-service business centre, internet stations and laundry stations.
“Holiday Inn Express is one of our fastest growing hotel brands in the world and its growth is fuelled by a rising demand from value-conscious travellers who are seeking affordable accommodation in convenient locations,” said Leanne Harwood, vice president, operations, South East Asia and Korea, IHG.
“Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre is the first of five Holiday Inn Express hotels that we are opening in Malaysia in the coming years and we will be in a great position to cater to the projected 36 million tourist arrivals expected in Malaysia by 2020.”
To commemorate the opening of the new hotel, Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre is offering an advance purchase rate starting from RM160++ (US$38++) per night. Members of IHG Rewards Club can also enjoy an additional five per cent discount.
