Brussels Airlines has opened a new lounge within Terminal B at Brussels airport.
The Suite features a quiet zone, food and reading areas, and reflects “Belgian spirit”, offering “Belgian beers, Belgian media, Belgian culinary specialties and impressions of the surrealist art of René Magritte”.
The lounge is double the size of the airline’s previous space at the terminal, with a capacity for 160 guests. This can also be expanded “at peak moments” to accommodate another 100 passengers.
The Suite is open to passengers travelling from Terminal B on the carrier’s short and medium-haul non-Schengen services to destinations including Moscow, Tel Aviv, United Kingdom, Morocco, as well as Brussels Airlines flights to the US and Canada, and Star Alliance partner services.
The new lounge follows the opening of the The Loft lounge space within Terminal A in October 2014.
Brussels Airlines recently unveiled the second in a series of specially designed aircraft liveries inspired by Belgian icons, featuring artwork by Rene Magritte.
