Virgin Australia has launched a new Economy Space + offering, available on its B777-300ER aircraft on flights to the US and Middle East.
Seats for the new product are located in the first five rows and the exit rows of the aircraft, and feature the following:
- Extra legroom
- Dedicated premium check-in counter
- Priority boarding
- Preferred overhead locker
- Dedicated crew members
- Guaranteeed first meal choice
- Noise-cancelling headsets
Economy Space + is available on flights from Sydney and Brisbane to Los Angeles, and from Sydney to Abu Dhabi.
The product can be purchased when selecting seats at virginaustralia.com, and costs between AU135 and AU165 each way.
The launch of Economy Space + co-incides with the unveiling of the carrier’s refitted B777-300ER aircraft, which feature new fully flat business class (see news August 2015) and premium economy (see news June 2015) seats.
