Starwood has completed a $120 million renovation of the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
The two-year project has seen all 1,372 rooms refurbished, with new custom-designed beds, carpets, drapery, desks, chairs, and 55-inch TVs, as well as renovated bathrooms.
The hotel’s meetings and events space has also been revamped and expanded, with the addition of two new ballrooms, and new state-of-the-art lighting systems and acoustic walls have also been added to rooms on the convention floor.
Starwood says the hotel now features “the fastest internet and largest bandwidth” of Greater Toronto are hotels, thanks to revamped wireless internet infrastructure and the installation of new access points.
The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is located in the city’s downtown area, close to Nathan Phillips Square and City Hall, and features a 43rd floor Club Lounge, as well as “the largest indoor-outdoor pool in the city”.
