Yotel Paris CDG to open in July

Yotel has confirmed its new Paris Charles de Gaulle property will open on July 1. The 80-cabin property will be located airside within the transit area of Paris Charles de Gaule’s Terminal 2E, and will be the first in-terminal hotel at the airport. Facilities will include premium cabins with adjustable beds and Serta gel mattresses, and all cabins feature ensuite bathrooms, wifi, and a “techno wall” with mood lighting and TVs which can be connected to personal devices. Public areas will offer a Club Lounge where guests can avail of free hot drinks, offering USB charging points and a TV zone, and a self-vending wall with hot and cold snacks, toiletries and plug adaptors available for purchase. Yotel Paris CDG airport The reception area features flight information screens, and passengers can view flight details for their own flights by scanning their boarding pass. In December Yotel outlined plans to open 12 new properties by 2018, including locations at Singapore Changi airport, San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Manchester, Williamsburg (New York) and Dubai (see news December 1, 2015). The group currently operates four properties at Gatwick, Heathrow and Amsterdam Schiphol airports, and in New York’s Manhattan district.
