Marco Polo Club changes take effect from tomorrow

14 Apr 2016 by Clement Huang

Cathay Pacific’s Marco Polo Club loyalty programme will switch to a revenue-based system tomorrow.

With effect from April 15, members' existing club miles or club sectors (whichever is higher) will be converted into club points – the new currency used to determine tier status.

Click here to read our summary of the new qualification requirements and benefits for each corresponding tier of the Marco Polo Club programme.

The Cathay Pacific frequent flyer programme has introduced a useful online tool that provides each member with an estimate of the amount of club points he or she will have once the changes take effect.

A club points calculator is also available here, which allows members to track the points they should earn from their flights. Dedicated service lines – +852 2683 6788 (Hong Kong); +800 2683 6788 (international) – are available to assist members during the transition period.
