Accorhotels has announced changes to its Le Club loyalty programme.
The changes include lowering the points threshold required for each tier of the Le Club programme.
In addition, starting from the beginning of 2017, members of Le Club will earn both Rewards points and Status points on qualifying spend.
Rewards Points will be used to redeem hotel nights and are valid for life, subject to one eligible stay per year.
Status points define the status level of the member, depending on activity during a calendar year.

Any status currently held will now be held until the end of 2017.
