Shangri-La has announced the development of the first Hotel Jen in Kuala Lumpur. Scheduled to open in 2019, it will be the brand’s second property in Malaysia after the signing of Hotel Jen Kota Kinabalu in Borneo in September 2015.
Hotel Jen Kuala Lumpur will be located at the intersection of Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan P Ramlee, some 800 metres from the city’s landmark Petronas Twin Towers and 300 metres from the KL Tower.
Aimed at the business travel segment, the hotel will also be situated close to the CBD and Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
Hotel Jen Kuala Lumpur will be housed within a 36-storey building and offer 200 guestrooms. Similar to other Hotel Jen properties, it will be home to the brand’s signature all-day dining restaurant Jen’s Kitchen. Other facilities will include a rooftop bar and infinity pool.
A club lounge will be available for guests staying on the designated club floors. It will offer express check-in and checkout services, complimentary breakfast, evening canapés and drinks.
