Marriott International has opened its fifth AC Hotels property in France, the AC Hotel Marseille Velodrome.
Located in the Marseille’s recently revitalised Prado area, the 126-room hotel is close to the Chanot Congress and Exhibition Centre and is 30 minutes from the International Marseille Provence airport.
The hotel has free wifi.
Marriott says that the rooms “incorporate an urban colour-scheme with hints of bright colour, clean lines and hardwood floors”.
In addition, furniture is “lifted from the ground to create a sense of space”.
The hotel has the Oh Massalia restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine and has a garden.
The new hotel joins AC Hotel Ambassadeur Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, AC Hotel Nice, AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot and AC Hotel Paris Le Bourget in France.
In January 2016 Marriott announced plans for 22 new AC hotels slated to open in 2016.
