Later this month Korean Air will finally launch its A380 aircraft onto services from Seoul Incheon to London Heathrow.
From March 27 the carrier’s daily flights to and from London will feature the superjumbo, configured for 407 seats with 301 in economy, 94 in business class and 12 in first class.
The A380 will operate on flight KE907 departing Seoul at 1325 and landing into Heathrow at 1725, with the return leg KE908 leaving London at 1935 and landing back into South Korea at 1425 the following day.
Korean Air took delivery of its first A380 aircraft in 2011, and has ten of the aircraft in its fleet.
It had originally been expected to make London the first European destination for its superjumbo, before opting to place the aircraft on its Paris CDG route – five years on Heathrow will finally welcome Korean’s A380 at the start of the summer schedules.
