Accorhotels has signed a contract with Avista Resort and Spa Patong Company to manage three properties in Phuket.

Two existing resorts will be rebranded as "Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort and Spa" and "Avista Hidewaway Phuket Patong, MGallery by Sofitel" on April 1. The other, "Avista Grande Phuket Karon, MGallery by Sofitel" will be a new-built property opening in 2018.

The 143-room Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort and Spa is located five minutes by foot from Kata Beach, and offers a restaurant, two bars, meeting facilities, a swimming pool, fitness centre and kid’s club.

Meanwhile, Avista Hidewaway Phuket Patong, MGallery by Sofitel features 150 guestrooms, and is located just two minutes from Patong beach and Jungceylon Shopping Centre. It also offers two restaurants, two bars, a meeting room, three swimming pools, a spa, fitness centre and kid’s club.

When it opens in 2018, the Avista Grande Phuket Karon, MGallery by Sofitel will sport 160 guestrooms, along with a restaurant, three bars, two meeting rooms and a swimming pool. The resort will also be located ten minutes by car from the Patong shopping and entertainment district.

Accor currently manages 16 hotels and resorts across Southern Thailand. The announcement means there are ten additional properties in the group's pipeline, reaffirming its commitment to the growing demand there.
