Marriott has opened its first property in The Hague – Netherland’s diplomatic capital.
Formerly known as the Worldhotel Bel Air, the Hague Marriott Hotel is the largest property in the city with 306 rooms.
Features include the brand’s Greatroom lobby concept, “offering an open and flexible welcome for guests to relax, work or socialise”, as well as The Gallery Restaurant, a cocktail bar and business centre.
There are a total of eight events spaces, including a conference room accommodating up to 700 delegates.
There is also a lounge on the ninth floor for executive guests, and visitors can hire bikes from the hotel’s fitness centre.
Rotterdam The Hague airport is served from Manchester by Flybe, and from London City by Cityjet and BA Cityflyer. Flybe will also launch flights from Birmingham to Rotterdam on September 6 (see news October 29, 2015).
