Malaysia Airlines (MAB) will offer its new flat-bed business class seat from March 23.
According to airlineroute, MAB’s first A330-300 to feature the new product will operate the daily Kuala Lumpur–Sydney route on flights MH141 and MH140.
Flight MH141 departs Kuala Lumpur at 0900 and arrives in Sydney at 1915. The return service on flight MH140 takes off from the Australian city at 2140, before touching back down in the Malaysian capital at 0430 the following day.
The reconfigured A330 aircraft will sport a two-class configuration, with 27 seats in business and 261 in economy. As previously reported (see here), the new business class seat will offer a 43-inch pitch, width of 20.6 inches and length of 76 inches. Unlike the existing product, which features a 2-2-2 configuration, the new seats will be arranged in a 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 layout, ensuring that 90 per cent of seats have direct aisle access.
