British Airways has refreshed its First lounge at Heathrow T5, replacing over 220 pieces of furniture and adding additional power outlets.
The premium lounge (available to first class passengers and Gold cardholders) now features new high-backed chairs, occasional tables, dining furniture and relaxing sofas.
Oak wood floors have also been resanded, waxed and polished, and carpets have been replaced.
The carrier also says that “additional power outlets have been discreetly fitted to provide even more places for customers to re-charge and power up their personal electronic devices”.
The revamp comes as BA gets ready to open its second Concorde Bar at the new Concourse D within Dubai International airport (see news September 1, 2015) – the new concourse is set to open next week (see news February 17).
BA offers a Concorde Room (for passengers flying first class only) at Heathrow T5, and recently opened the first Concorde Bar at Singapore Changi (see news August 24, 2015).
