WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT IT? This is an aviation-geek's paradise. The 100-seater restaurant is modelled after the cabin of an Airbus A380. Diners can call watiresses dressed as cabin crew by pressing the “flight attendant” button on their table, while reclining in seats resembling those found in first class.
MENU Expect excellent seafood, from congee through to the restaurant’s signature hotpot service, which will cost around RMB700 (US$106) per serving.

Located on level 122 of the world’s tallest building, the 1,030 sqm restaurant hold the official Guiness World Record title for the highest restaurant in the world (from ground level). Offering views from a dizzying height of 442 metres, the view of the Arabian Gulf is unbeatable.
MENU The menu is highly indulgent, from foie gras to wagyu beef tenderloin, customers looking for something special will not be disappointed. The highlight is the seven course tasting dinner menu, which will run you about AED 880 (US$240) per person, or AED 1,600 (US$436) with wine pairing.

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT IT? Those looking for a sensory and social experience should head to Alchemy in the Dark, where guests dine in total darkness. Even light emitting devices such as mobile phones have to be stored outside of the main dining area.The intimate setting has only 24 seats, and hires visually impaired waiting staff to serve the dishes. A percentage of the proceeds are also directed to blind-related charities in Hong Kong.
MENU Part of the experience is to have a surprise menu - guests aren't told the details of their dishes until after their meal! This forces diners to use their other senses to experience the meal. Having said that, the restaurant features a changing menu of Western dishes, which are presented as finger food in an attempt to alleviate the trickiness of using cutlery in the dark!

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT IT? Diners can indulge in Californian–Mediterranean fare while watching classic films in an outdoor setting. From all-time favourites such as Singing in the Rain (Jan 21-Feb 21) to the award-winning French flick Tomboy (Feb 22-Mar 20), there’s something for everyone.
MENU Foreign cinema is well known for its oyster bar as well as Californian favourites. The sesame seed curry fried chicken with hummus, spiced carrots, tomato chutney and chicories (US$25) is highly recommended, as is the porcini and parsnip velouté, served with truffle-stuffed gougers (US$8).

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT IT? The restaurant is located in a set of greenhouses, which date back to the 1920s. Up to 140 guests can be accommodated in the restaurant’s 8-metre high glass buildings for either lunch or dinner where they will be surrounded by the gentle aromas of fresh herbs and greens. The menu features locally grown produce, while the vegetables and herbs are all grown on site.
MENU The menus change regularly depending on freshness of ingredients. However, a three-course dinner, priced at €49.50 (US$54) will consist of three small starters, main course and a dessert. For those interested in gaining an up close view of the cooking, a chef’s table is available in the kitchen. It can seat up to four guests, and costs €130 (US$141) per pax including wine.
