On January 11, Plaza Premium Group and Cambodia Airports jointly celebrated the grand opening of a new Plaza Premium Lounge in Phnom Penh.
Located on the mezzanine floor of international departures at Phnom Penh International Airport, the new Plaza Premium Lounge is the first independent airport lounge in Cambodia, covering more than 1,400 sqm with a capacity of close to 300 seats. This will be a brand-new experience for those flying out of Phnom Penh International Airport, and it is open to all travellers regardless of their airline or class of travel.
“This is our first lounge in Cambodia,” said Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group. “We firmly believe our presence will enhance travellers’ experience at this airport in the wake of Cambodia’s booming tourism industry.”
The lounge is decorated with fine timber, polished granite and high-quality fabric, and an interesting “photo wall” featured in the bar and dining area shows a collection of vintage pictures of Cambodia.
A private VIP room has a seating capacity of ten people, and there are three shower rooms with a full selection of amenities. The lounge offers complimentary wifi and plenty of electrical outlets for tablets, laptops and mobile phones. It also houses a spa and offers a wide range of F&B options focusing on Southeast Asian fare.
You can pre-book the lounge on the website (see below) for two- or five-hour lounge use packages. Prices start at US$35 for two hours’ lounge access including shower, and US$50 for five hours.
In line with Cambodia Airports’ upgrading programme, Plaza Premium Group will also be bringing a lounge to Siem Reap International Airport later this year.
