Preferred Hotels & Resorts has entered into a master partnership agreement with Katara Hospitality for the recently launched Murwab Hotel Group, Katara’s stand-alone hotel operation division.
Effective immediately, four of Murwab Hotel Group’s properties in Qatar and Switzerland will be represented by Preferred Hotels & Resorts, while a further five hotels – currently under development in Europe and the Middle East – will be added over the course of the next 18 months.
The Murwab Hotel Group properties will continue to be owned, operated and managed independently. However, they will gain access to Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ sales capabilities in the corporate and leisure travel sectors, while leveraging off the company’s strong marketing and distribution platforms.
Reciprocally, the partnership allows Preferred Hotels & Resorts to establish a presence in Qatar and deliver greater brand awareness to other Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
