Intercontinental Hotels Group has celebrated the opening of its newest property in Indonesia – the Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Wahid Hasyim.
The 160-room hotel is the eighth Holiday Inn Express property in Indonesia and the fourth in Jakarta, highlighting the popularity of the select service hotel segment in the country.
“Holiday Inn Express is one of the fastest growing hotel brands in the world; we have opened an average of one Holiday Inn Express hotel every three months since the brand’s Indonesia debut in 2013,” said Leanne Harwood, vice president, operations, Southeast Asia, IHG.
“With more than 20 million travellers expected in Indonesia over the coming years, we are confident that the brand will cater to the needs of on-the-go travellers looking for a comfy and affordable place to rest and relax after a long day out and about, whether for business or leisure.”
Boasting a convenient location on Jalan K.H. Wahid Hasyim, this new Holiday Inn Express offers easy access to the city’s CBD area, and is a short drive from other commercial areas such as Jalan Jendral Sudirman and the Kuningan neighbourhood in Jakarta’s Golden Triangle.
Complimentary wifi is standard in all rooms, along with comfortable bedding with the choice of firm and soft pillows. Power showers with a three-function massage showerhead are provided, as well as free Express Start Breakfast with a grab-and-go option.
Hotel facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre as well as a self-service business centre, plus laundry stations.
To commemorate the opening of the new hotel, guests who book stays between now and February 29 will enjoy special rates starting from US$40++ per night.
