Travel rewards programme Avios has launched its January sale, offering a raft of redemption discounts on cruises and holiday packages, as well as hotel stays and car hire.
Members redeeming Avios against cruise and holiday packages will receive a £100 discount on their booking when redeeming 5,000 points, £200 for 10,000 points, and £300 for 15,000.
Note that a £750 minimum spend per booking applies, and any Avios redeemed over the 15,000 threshold will be applied at a rate of £50 discount for every 10,000 points spent.
The offer applies for bookings made by January 24 for travel by December 31, 2016.
Members can also get between 20 and 40 per cent off hotel redemptions with Avios Preferred Hotels. This offer is valid for hotels in 12 destinations: Vienna, Copenhagen, Nice, Berlin, Rome, Marrakech, Amsterdam, Algarve, Madrid, Istanbul, Dubai and Boston.
Hotel bookings must made by January 24, for stays between March 1 and May 31, to qualify for the discount.
Finally the scheme is offering up to 20 per cent off Avis car hire redemptions in selected destinations, for bookings made between January 8 and February 4 for rentals between January 8 and March 15.
