With 114 guestrooms and suites, the mid-scale property offers an attractive range of in-room amenities, including flatscreen TV, USB ports and complimentary wifi.

Facilities include a fully-equipped business centre and a flexible meeting space that can cater for both small and large events, an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, shaded outdoor swimming pool with pool-side bar, spa, fitness centre, steam room and sauna.

Olivier Berrivin, Best Western's managing director of international operations in Asia, said: "Following our two properties in Yangon, Best Western Plus Eastern Palace Hotel will be another excellent addition to our nationwide portfolio.

"With Myanmar's recent elections having passed off peacefully and successfully, this charming and alluring country is set for another prolonged period of prosperity."
