Addison Lee has launched an in-app feature allowing travellers to "snooze" journeys when their plans change.
Customers who have pre-booked journeys via the London minicab service's app will have the option to delay their taxi — by 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes — as many times as they want.
Snooze is also available for return journeys.
The facility is free but customers will only be able to snooze a journey if their driver is more than 15 minutes away.
A statement said: "You have to allow 15 minutes to snooze your cab. You will get a notification 15 minutes before your car is due to arrive, this will give you the option to snooze if you need a bit more time."
It is now available to all users of the Addison Lee app.
