Air Canada will roster a B787-9 on to its Toronto Pearson-London Heathrow route next year.
The carrier will fly the most recent Dreamliner between the two cities from June 1 until October 29.
It had planned to operate a four-times daily service on the route next summer - three B777-300ERs and one B767-300ER, which will be replaced by the B787-9, reports airlineroute.net.
The affected flights are AC868 and AC859. AC868 departs Toronto at 0905 and arrives in London at 2100, while AC859 leaves London at 1800 and lands in Toronto at 2040.
This winter, the airline is operating a four-times daily service using B787-8, A330-300, B777-300ER and B767-300ER aircraft.
Last month, Air Canada announced it will add a second daily service on to its Vancouver-London Heathrow route next summer (see news, October 30).
