Starwood Hotels & Resorts will open its first St Regis property in Dubai tomorrow.
The St Regis Dubai is located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Habtoor City, where two additional Starwood hotels under its W Hotels and Westin brands are also scheduled to open.
The St Regis property contains 234 rooms, of which 52 are suites, including the region's first Bentley Suite (to be unveiled in early 2016) and the 913 sqm three-bedroom, two-storey Royal Suite, which features a rooftop pool, living and dining rooms, a study and lounge.
Facilties include free wifi, eight dining venues, a spa, two outdoor rooftop swimming pools and a fitness centre.
The hotel's two primary restaurants are the J&G Steakhouse, which is open for dinner, while the Brasserie Quartier features French cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sidra is the only venue open 24 hours a day and is described as an "afternoon tea lounge" offering pastries or various small treats. Other options include two cafes and a rooftop pool restaurant, and the St Regis Bar and Champagne Lounge.
Spread between the ground and second floor are six meeting rooms, which include a boardroom as well as the 800 sqm Astor Ballroom. Al fresco events can be planned in the hotel's gardens.
Earlier this month, Starwood announced that a new St Regis hotel will open in Shanghai in early 2017 (see news, November 2).
