In response to high demand, Etihad Airways will increase capacity to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by introducing a third daily flight between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah.
With effect from December 10, 2015, the Gulf carrier will begin operating flight EY333 departing Abu Dhabi at 0755 and arriving in Jeddah at 1010. The return flight will see EY334 take off from Jeddah at 1105 and touch back down in Abu Dhabi at 1440.
The existing twice-daily return flight schedule is as follows:

While the existing services are operated by a two-class B777-300ER, the new third daily service will instead be served with the single aisle A320 aircraft. It features a two-class configuration, with 16 seats in business and 120 in economy.
“Business, religious and leisure guests flying between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah may now choose from greater schedule options,” said Kevin Knight, Etihad Airways’ chief strategy and planning officer.
“Abu Dhabi’s geographical location makes it ideal as a gateway for air travellers going to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, connecting easily and quickly across Etihad Airways’ route network.”
