APA Hotel to enter US market

18 Nov 2015 by Clement Huang

APA Hotel (Always Pleasant Amenity), Japan’s largest hospitality group has partnered with Friendwell Group of Companies to bring its brand to the US market.

First to open is the 200-room APA Hotel Woodbridge at Metropark New Jersey, formerly the Hilton Woodbridge Hotel, which opened its doors on November 13. This will be followed by additional properties throughout the US.

A renovation project will take place in phases to renovate all guestrooms, suites, and public areas including the lobby, conference facilities, a new signature Japanese restaurant, and a full service bar. Works on the public spaces are expected to be completed by summer 2016, with the guestrooms to follow by spring 2017.

"APA set the trend in Asia and Japan for the creation of new urban style hotels with core values steeped in high quality, high functionality and environment-friendly amenities," said Toshio Motoya, founder of APA Hotel.

“Our amenities that are usually found in five-star hotels offer excellent value at APA Hotel's three- and four–star properties."
