Members of British Airways Executive Club and Avios Travel Rewards can receive a 40 per cent discount when redeeming points for World Traveller seats on long-haul routes from Heathrow and Gatwick.
The promotion is available on more than 65 long-haul flights booked by November 2 for travel by March 20.
Destinations and Avios required
Among the discounts available are economy flights to New York, Boston and Dubai for 15,600 Avios off-peak or 24,000 peak, rather than 26,000 and 40,000 respectively.
Flights to Hong Kong and Tokyo are available for 23,400 off-peak or 36,000 peak, compared to 39,000 and 60,000 normally.
To qualify, members must book online at either ba.com/ecoffers or avios.com or book via the BA and Avios mobile apps.
Full airline taxes and charges are still payable for each fare.
Earlier today, BA announced that it will add a sixth "enhanced" meal option for its long-haul economy passengers next week (see news, October 19).
