Air Berlin and Alitalia add codeshare flights

15 Oct 2015 by GrahamSmith

Air Berlin and Alitalia are expanding their codeshare agreement to include additional domestic routes.

The airlines, who are both part-owned by Etihad Airways, will start the new codeshares on October 25.

From that date, Air Berlin will add its flight code to the following routes operated by Alitalia: Milan Linate to Bari and Palermo; and Rome to Casablanca, Genoa and Tel Aviv, reports airlineroute.net.

Alitalia will add its flight code to these Air Berlin services: Berlin Tegel to Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Saarbruecken; and Dusseldorf to Dresden, Hamburg, Nuremberg and Stuttgart.

Earlier this year, Alitalia debuted its new-look business class product on two A330 aircraft operating to/from Abu Dhabi (see news, June 9).
