Eurowings will launch a service between Vienna and London Stansted on November 9.
The carrier, Lufthansa's new low-cost long-haul division (see news, December 2014), will operate up to nine weekly flights, starting on December 4.
It will roster an A320 "sharklet" aircraft on to the route, instead of the Austrian Airlines A320 that Lufthansa had previously planned to operate, reports airlineroute.net.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, outbound service EW5830 will depart Vienna at 0625 and land at Stansted at 0735, while return flight EW5831 will leave Stansted at 0825 and land in Vienna at 1130.
On every day apart from Saturdays, outbound service EW5832 will depart Vienna at 1815 and land at Stansted at 1925, while return flight EW5833 will leave Stansted at 2005 and land in Vienna at 2310.
Eurowings plans to launch a service from its Vienna base to Rome from March 27.
