British Airways has launched a short-term promotion for its "Hold Your Flight Price" service, allowing passengers to hold reservations and freeze fare prices for up to 72 hours for just £1.
The carrier launched the service last year (see news August 2014), which is normally charged at £5/€5 per person for short and medium-haul flights, and £10/€10 per person for long-haul services.
This has been reduced to £1 for all flights, but you'll need to be quick as the offer is only available until September 29, to co-incide with the World Traveller flights and holidays sale BA is currently running.
Note that seats can only be held up to 21 days before departure, so the service will not be of use to those looking to book last-minute trips, and certain destinations are excluded.
Providing the flights are then purchased before the 72-hour deadline, the hold fee will be refunded.
