Accorhotels has opened an Ibis Styles boutique hotel in Glasgow.
The Ibis Styles Glasgow Centre George Square features 101 guestrooms.
The budget property is inspired by Glasgow's industrial past and local comedy legend Billy Connolly, Accorhotels said in a statement.
Inge Van Ooteghem, a senior vice-president at Accorhotels, said: "Whether guests are here for business or leisure, they'll experience the vibrancy and charm of Glasgow through the fabric of the hotel walls.
"Now is a very exciting time for Ibis Styles, with a further two hotels set to open this month in Haydock and Barnsley."
The hotel will be operated by independent management company Redefine BDL Hotels.
Accor opened its fifth Ibis Styles property in London last year (see news, October 2014).
