Qatar Airways beefs up flights to Europe

Qatar Airways (QR) is beefing up its presence in Europe by significantly increasing the number of flights it makes to Stockholm in Sweden, Copenhagen in Denmark and Brussels in Belgium.

From December 1 2015 to March 25 2016, QR flights from Doha to Stockholm will expand from a 10-times weekly service to 13 flights per week. This seasonal expansion will represent a 30 per cent increase in overall capacity. The Gulf carrier will operate a double-daily B787 service to Stockholm every day except Wednesday.

Meanwhile, QR will increase the frequency of flights to Copenhagen from December 2. The new schedule will see the Oneworld member operate double daily flights to the Danish capital, up from the existing 11-times weekly. Like QR’s Stockholm service, the flights to Copenhagen will be operated by a B787. 

Doha-Copenhagen schedule from December 2, 2015: 

Then on December 4, exactly five years after the introduction of the route, flights from Doha to Brussels will be increased from seven to eight-times weekly. This represents a 14 per cent increase in capacity, with flights also operated by the B787.
