Intercontinental Hotels Group has opened a Crowne Plaza property at Aberdeen airport.
The Crowne Plaza At Aberdeen International Airport features 165 rooms and arrives after 18 months of construction work. It is linked directly to the airport via a covered walkway.
Facilities include the "Offshore Bar & Grill" restaurant, free-wifi, a club lounge, real-time flights departure/arrivals board, a Starbucks cafe and a gym.
A conference and events centre contains ten meeting rooms with seating for up to 300 people.
Earlier this year, Holiday Inn Express opened a new property at Aberdeen airport (see news, May 8).
In March, IHG announced it will open a dual Crowne Plaza / Staybridge Suites development in Manchester towards the end of next year (see news, March 3).
