British Airways will open a lounge in Dubai International airport’s new Concourse D.

The facility will be the second to feature BA’s new Concorde Bar; the first opened in Singapore’s Changi airport last month (see news, August 24).

Access to the lounge will be available to BA First and Club World passengers, Executive Gold and Silver members and Oneworld frequent flyers with Emerald and Sapphire status.

The Concorde Bar, which will feature black Nero marble surfaces, oak flooring and Vitra lounger seats, will be separate from the main lounge and will be exclusive to first class passengers and their eligible guests.

Concourse D is scheduled to open later this year.

Paolo De Renzis, BA’s head of Middle East, Africa and Central Asia sales, said: “Lounges are a key benefit of our frequent flyer programme and our team has designed an exclusive, relaxing environment in the Dubai lounge.”
