Singapore Airlines will add three weekly flights to its Mumbai service this winter.
From October 25, the carrier will increase services on its Singapore-Mumbai route from the current 14 to 17 per week.
New flight SQ425/426 will be operated by a B777-200ER and will fly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, reports airlineroute.net.
Outbound service SQ426 will depart Singapore at 0235 and arrive in Mumbai at 0525. Return leg SQ425 will leave Mumbai at 0830 and land in Singapore at 1630.
SIA currently operates two daily flights — SQ421/422 and SQ423/424 — on the route. These will remain in place this winter.
Last week, it emerged that the airline plans to reclaim its crown as operator of the world's longest non-stop flight in 2018 with a 19-hour service from Singapore to New York (see news, August 18).
