British Airways Executive Club members can earn 25 per cent bonus Avios when flying transatlantic in premium cabins with BA and American Airlines.
To be eligible, members must pre-register, then book and fly one way with BA and one way with American from London to either Los Angeles or New York by October 31.
Participants must quote their Executive Club membership number at the time of booking each flight and also at check-in for the outward and return legs of their journey.
BA said a "service fee may apply per person per ticket at the time of booking".
BA and American currently operate up to 16 daily flights between London and New York airports, and up to four daily flights to Los Angeles.
Last year, BA and Iberia extended their joint venture with American Airlines to include AA's merger partner US Airways (see news, April 2014).
