Hilton Worldwide has announced a new Conrad hotel in the Chinese city of Shenzhen.
The property is slated to open in 2019, and will be situated within the Horoy Qianhai Centre, in the city’s Qianhai central business district.
Details are limited at the moment, but Hilton has confirmed the hotel will feature 300 rooms, as well as “exquisite cuisines and refreshments that appeal to both local and international tastes”, and 2,500 sqm of meeting space including a 1,200 sqm ballroom.
The Conrad Shenzhen will join two existing Hilton Hotels and Resorts properties in the city, as well as the Hilton Garden Inn Shenzhen Bao’An.
Conrad also operates hotels in the nearby Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, and has a number of other properties under development in Chinese cities including Guangzhou, Xiamen, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Qingdao, Tianjin, Changsha and Chengdu.
Hilton Worldwide also recently announced plans for the new-build Conrad Chicago (see news, May 2015), scheduled to open in spring 2016.
