Qantas will soon offer 10 per cent flight discounts off the base fare to members of its small and medium-sized loyalty programme Aquire.
From next month, Aquire Flight Deals will allow Australia-based businesses to buy discounted tickets for employee work-related travel across Qantas' domestic and international network.
It will also be extended to some codeshare flights with a QF flight number.
Qantas Loyalty CEO Lesley Grant said: "In real terms, the discounts equate to savings of over AUS$950 on a return Business Saver fare from Melbourne to New York or London. And for a domestic return Economy Flex fare from Sydney to Perth you'd be looking at savings of around AUS$150."
Aquire Flight Deals will be available for sale on/after July 28, for travel in economy from August 4, and travel in premium economy and business from August 7.
Qantas launched the stand-alone Aquire programme for SMEs in March (see news, November 2013).
