Qatar Airways has launched services to two cities in Pakistan.
The Gulf carrier began a four-times weekly operation to Sialkot on July 16 and three-times weekly flights to Faisalabad the next day.
Both routes are being served by a two-class A320 with up to 12 seats in business class and 132 in economy.
The Doha-Sialkot service operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with outbound flight QR626 departing Doha at 0110 and arriving in Sialkot at 0650 and return leg QR627 leaving Sialkot at 0935 and landing in Doha at 1115.
The Doha-Faisalabad service operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with with outbound flight QR622 departing Doha at 0110 and arriving in Faisalabad at 0635 and return flight QR637 leaving Faisalabad at 0945 and landing in Doha at 1115.
Qatar Airways operates a further 45 weekly flights to four cities in Pakistan – double daily services to Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, and three weekly flights to Peshawar.
The airline will next add a three-times weekly service to Multan on August 2.
And it will roster a B787-8 on to its Doha-Jakarta route this winter (see news, July 13).
