British Airways to fly A380 daily to Singapore from February

20 Jul 2015 by GrahamSmith
British Airways will operate a daily A380 service to Singapore from February next year. The carrier had been scheduled to roster the superjumbo daily as BA011/012 between London Heathrow and Singapore Changi from December 14 (see news, April 23). This was then postponed until early March 2016 and has now being readjusted to February 24. The daily service will continue into the summer, reports airlineroute.net. Currently, outbound service BA011 departs LHR at 2000 and arrives at Singapore Changi at 1600 the next day, while return service BA12 leaves Singapore at 2245 and lands in London at 0505 the next day. BA also operates a second daily service, BA015/016, to Singapore using a B777 aircraft. Last October, BA celebrated rostering an A380 to Singapore by flying actress Gwyneth Paltrow to the city state (see news, October 2014). ba.com Graham Smith
