Changi Airport celebrates Singapore’s Golden Jubilee

Changi Airport has unveiled 50 attractions featuring Singapore’s most iconic features, dishes and landmarks in celebration of the nation’s 50 years of independence. Topiary of a typical Singaporean scene: a river bumboat known as a "twakow" Visitors will be treated to a visual feast of Singaporean icons, such as the larger-than-life durian and chilli crab displays, and various exhibits about Singapore’s past and present. Giant durian display SG50 discounts, gifts and shopping deals will be available at its 150 retail and F&B outlets, while a glimpse of Changi’s future developments is also on display thanks to a built-to-scale model of the airport master plan. For passengers with more time to spare, movie screenings will be held at the movie theatres in Terminal 2 and 3 transit areas free of charge.
