Air France will roster an A380 to Mexico City from January next year.
The superjumbo will replace the B747 that the carrier currently flies between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Mexico City.
The four-class A380 will initially operate three-times weekly before increasing to daily at the end of March.
Outbound service AF438 will depart Paris at 1330 and land in Mexico City at 1840, while return service AF439 will leave Mexico City at 2110 and arrive in Paris at 1425 the next day.
All Air France flights to Mexico are codeshares with Aeromexico.
Frédéric Gagey, Air France's CEO, said: "Using our A380 on flights to Mexico this winter means we can improve our offering for this line and contribute even more to promoting tourism and increasing the number of interactions between Mexico and France."
This summer, Air France's ten A380s are flying to eight destinations - Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco, Washington, Abidjan, Johannesburg, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
