Luxury Chinese hospitality company Wanda Hotels & Resorts announced its plans to expand to overseas markets with its first international brand, Wanda Vista.
London will be the first international destination, with a Wanda Vista hotel in the company's existing 42-storey River Tower residential space overlooking the Thames in 2018.
This will be followed by properties in Madrid, Sydney, the Australian Gold Coast, Chicago and Los Angeles, also with openings set for 2018, while further plans are underway to expand this list a total of 27 international destinations by 2020.
Developed around brand values of “personality”, “finesse” and “bliss”, the five-star Wanda Vista properties will emphasise art and culture, and be designed with strong oriental influences.

Wanda Vista made its debut in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, in 2012. Since then the brand has continued to expand domestically, and by the end of this year there will be 12 Wanda Vista hotels in operation across China’s major cities.
