Singaporean low-cost carrier Scoot launched a new service to Osaka via Bangkok (Don Mueang) this morning, while a second service to Osaka, via Kaohsiung, will begin tomorrow (July 9).
Both flights will be operated by the carrier's new B787-9, configured with 35 ScootBiz and 340 economy class seats (see our review of ScootBiz here).
The schedule for flights between Singapore and Osaka are as follows:
Flight TZ298 Depart Singapore (0605) – Bangkok (arrives 0605, departs 0710) – Osaka (arrives 1550) [Wednesday, Friday, Sunday]
Flight TZ297 Depart Osaka (1730) – Bangkok (arrives 2155, departs 2255) – Singapore (arrives 0225 next day) [Wednesday, Friday, Sunday]
Flight TZ288 Depart Singapore (0615) – Kaohsiung (arrives 1025, departs 1135) – Osaka (1515) [Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday]
Flight TZ297 Depart Osaka (1615) – Kaohsiung (arrives 1855, departs 2005) – Singapore (arrives 0025 next day) [Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday]
The addition of these new routes brings the total number of Scoot destinations to 15 in seven countries.
