Air China will launch a thrice-weekly Beijing to Colombo service starting October 27.
Complementing the Star Alliance carrier’s existing four-weekly service from Chengdu that launched in February (see here), the new A330-300 service will mark its second route to the Sri Lankan city.
CA873 will depart Beijing at 1330 and arrive in Colombo at 1910 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On the return, CA874 will depart Colombo at 2110 and arrive back in the Chinese capital at 0700 the following day.
Three classes of service, including business, premium economy, and economy will be offered.
