Easybus travels to Heathrow

24 Jun 2015 by GrahamSmith

Easyjet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannous Easybus service is to begin its first route between Heathrow and central London.

Easybus will launch the route from LHR's Central Bus Station to Shepherd's Bush on July 1 and is promising that the service will operate "at least" 90 times per day between 0330 and 0125.

The bus operator, which is part of Haji-Ioannou's Easygroup empire of brands, already operates non-stop services from Luton, Gatwick (see news, October 2008) and Stansted airports to central London.

Easybus is offering ticket prices of £1 for an introductory travel period running until July 14. Prices will start at £2 after this date.

Haji-Ioannou, who is chairman of Easybus, said: "Heathrow has welcomed the value of the Easy brand. This new service will be good for consumers as it further spreads the Easybus offer throughout the capital.

"Now virtually every air passenger to London has the opportunity to make great savings with Easybus."

As well as its UK routes, Easybus also operates services in Europe from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport to central Paris and Geneva airport to the ski resort of Chamonix in the French Alps.
