Air France axes Kuala Lumpur route

17 Jun 2015 by GrahamSmith

Air France will cancel its route between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Kuala Lumpur this winter.

The Skyteam carrier relaunched its service to the Malaysian capital two years ago (see news, April 2013).

It will no longer operate flights AF246 and AF241 from October 25.

The airline will also cancel its services to Stavanger in Norway, Verona in Italy and Vigo in Spain from September as part of a cost-cutting restructure.

At the end of last month, British Airways launched a London Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur service after a 14-year absence (see news, September 2014).
