Delta Air Lines will launch a daily operation between Atlanta and Zurich tomorrow.
The US carrier will roster a B767-300ER aircraft on to the summer seasonal service, which will run alongside its existing year-round flight from Zurich to New York JFK.
Outbound service D66 will depart Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport at 1732 and arrive in Zurich at 0845 the next day, while return service DL77 will leave Zurich at 1030 and land in Atlanta at 1451.
Thomas Brandt, Delta's sales manager – Switzerland, Germany and Austria, said: "Delta will be offering nearly 3,000 weekly seats between Switzerland and the United States during the peak season in response to higher demand for travel over the summer months."
Last week, Delta completed a $229 million, three-year upgrade at Los Angeles International airport's Terminal 5 (see news, June 12).
