The first Marriott Hotel in Taiwan will open for business next month.
Located in Dazhi District – the capital’s new commercial hub, the 320-room Taiwan Marriott Hotel is a 10-minutes drive from Songshan International Airport, and is within walking distance of the Jiannan Road MRT station.
According to the hotel, all guestrooms and suites will feature interiors that reflect the local culture while showcasing the latest technology and creativity.
Taiwan Marriott Hotel will also be home to the largest convention centre in Taipei, which offers 3,000sqm of flexible event space. This can also be transformed into 12 smaller meeting rooms, as well as a 1,260sqm Grand Ballroom – again the largest available for a Taiwan hotel.
There will be five individual restaurant and lounges serving a range of international cuisine. The Lobby Lounge offers snacks and light bites, while the Garden Kitchen is the hotel’s all-day dining outlet. On level 2 is Mac’s Teppan, which showcases Japanese Teppanyaki, Chinese and Western cuisine. Then there is The Dining Place on level 3 where guests can enjoy Cantonese and Sichuan fare; and Oxy Bar & Grill on the 20th floor.
Recreational facilities include a spa, a 24-hour fitness centre, and a rooftop swimming pool.
